Watch the 2-minute setup
LT Chainline is a block theme for bicycle shops and bike repair workshops: servicing, repairs, bikes for sale, bike fitting and group rides. Its look comes from the paper repair tag every bike wears in a workshop: the booking card and the service menu are tags on strings, and everything around them stays quiet. See it live in the demo.
Section patterns (Pro)
| Pattern | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Hero with hanging repair tag | A large headline over a route elevation line, two buttons, and a booking card drawn as a repair tag on its string (bike, service, drop-off day, price). The tag swings once when the page loads. |
| Service tags on a rail | Three services as tags hanging from a rail: who each is for, what is included, the turnaround and the price on the tear-off stub. |
| Quick fixes price list | Small repairs with prices and a lime “While you wait” mark on jobs done on the spot. |
| How a repair works | Four numbered steps: drop off, we check and quote, we fix, collect. |
| Bikes we sell (spec table) | The kinds of bike you sell in a plain table: good for, sizes, what comes with it, from-price, and a test ride button. |
| Bike fitting | A line drawing of a bike next to what a fit covers, how long it takes and the price. |
| Group rides timetable | A dark band with a ride photo and your weekly rides: day and time, distance, pace, and a lime mark on good first rides. |
| About the workshop | Photo of a bike in the repair stand, the shop’s story and four ticked points. |
| Mechanics | Four portraits with role and a one-line bio. |
| Customer reviews | Three sample quotes (use real reviews only). |
| Frequently asked questions | Booking, turnaround, prices first, e-bikes, other shops’ bikes, collection. |
| Opening hours and location | Opening hours, address, phone and a map with directions. |
| Contact details | Call, email and visit, each under a hairline. |
| Book a service call to action | Deep teal band with a lime booking button and a phone button. |
| Latest articles | Your three newest blog posts. |

Write only what is true for your shop. Prices and turnaround times in the demo are examples. Do not name bike or e-bike brands unless you are an authorised dealer or service centre, and do not add certifications, warranties or years of experience you cannot confirm. Bike fitting and group rides should carry no health or fitness promises. Publish reviews only from real customers who agreed to it.
Photo guide
Replace the illustrations and placeholder portraits with your own photos: select the image in the editor, then Replace. These sizes look sharp on large screens without slowing the site down.
| Image | Shape | Upload size | Tips |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workshop photo | Landscape 5:4 | 1600 × 1280 px | Hands at work on a bike in the repair stand, or your tool wall. Real work in your own workshop beats a stock photo. |
| Group ride photo | Landscape 3:2 | 1600 × 1067 px | Your riders seen from behind on a local road or path. Ask everyone who can be recognised before you publish. |
| Mechanic photos | Portrait 4:5 | 800 × 1000 px | Head and shoulders in the workshop, same background and light for everyone. Ask each person before you publish. |
| Map picture | Landscape 3:2 | 1600 × 1040 px | A screenshot of your map, or keep the illustration; the button links to Google Maps. |
| Blog featured images | Landscape 3:2 | 1600 × 1067 px | Shown on the blog cards and at the top of each post. |
| Logo (header and footer) | Wide or square | At least 200 px tall, PNG with a transparent background or SVG | Shown about 44 px tall. Set it in Appearance → Editor: select the logo block. |
| Site icon | Square | 512 × 512 px | The small icon in browser tabs. Settings → General → Site Icon. |
- Save photos as JPEG or WebP and keep each file under about 300 KB (a free tool such as squoosh.app does this).
- WordPress crops to the shape for you: select the image → Crop in the toolbar to choose which part shows.
- Fill in the Alternative text of each photo (for example “Our reception desk”) for accessibility and Google.
- Only use photos you own or have permission for. Ask clients before you publish photos of them.
Colour styles
Workshop (default: chalk, asphalt, workshop teal and a hi-vis lime for “ready” marks), Night ride (dark, with pale teal), Peloton (jersey red with a yellow mark) and Gravel (olive and khaki green). Try them in the live demo with the colour dots in the top bar.
Service bookings
LT Chainline has no built-in form. Link the “Book a service” buttons to your booking or workshop system, or add your form plugin’s block to the Contact page. Ask only for what you need to plan the job: name, phone, the kind of bike, what it is doing and the day it can be dropped off.
