FAQ
Good to know before you order
Still have a question? Call or pop into the bakery and we will be happy to help.
Do your bakes contain allergens?
Most of our bakes contain wheat (gluten), milk and eggs, and our kitchen also handles nuts, sesame and soy. Ask us for the allergen list of any item. Because everything is made in one kitchen, we cannot guarantee that a bake is free from traces of any allergen.
How far ahead should I order a celebration cake?
Please order at least 3 days ahead for a single-tier cake and 2 to 4 weeks ahead for tiered or wedding cakes. Busy weekends book up early, so get in touch as soon as you have a date.
Do you deliver?
Cakes can be collected from the bakery, boxed and ready. We deliver tiered and larger cakes locally for a small fee; ask when you order. Wholesale orders are delivered early each morning.
Can I reserve bread and pastries?
Yes. Call or email by 18:00 the day before and we will put your order aside to collect the next morning. Regular weekly orders are welcome too.
Do you have vegan or gluten-free options?
Some of our breads and bakes are vegan, marked VG on the menu. We are not a gluten-free kitchen, so we do not sell gluten-free bakes for people with coeliac disease.
Can you supply my café or restaurant?
We would love to. Email us what you need and how often, and we will send the wholesale list and delivery days.
Planning a celebration? Let’s bake it.
Send us your date, the number of guests and an idea of the design, and we will reply with a quote. Or call to pre-order your bread and pastries.
