How care starts

From first call to first visit, step by step

1

Talk to us

Call or send a message. Tell us a little about your loved one and what is worrying you, and we will explain the options in plain words.

2

Free care assessment

A care manager visits at home, or meets you by video, to understand routines, health needs, likes and dislikes.

3

Your written care plan

You receive a clear plan with visit times, tasks and the cost. Nothing starts until you and your loved one are happy with it.

4

Meet your caregiver

We introduce your caregiver before the first visit where we can, then check in often and adjust the plan as needs change.

FAQ

Questions families ask us

Cannot find your answer? Call our office. We are happy to talk things through, with no obligation.

How do you choose and check your caregivers?

Every caregiver has an in-person interview, reference checks and a background check before their first visit. New caregivers shadow an experienced colleague first, and their training is kept up to date.

Will my relative see the same caregiver each time?

We build a small, steady team around each person and keep it the same wherever we can. If someone is on holiday or unwell, we tell you who is coming instead.

Can we change visit times or pause care?

Yes. Care plans are flexible. You can add, move or pause visits with notice, for example during a hospital stay or a family holiday. Ask us about the notice we need.

What happens in an emergency?

In a medical emergency, caregivers call 911 first, then let you and our on-call team know straight away. If you are worried about your relative’s health, call 911 or their doctor. For anything else, our on-call line answers at any hour.

How soon can care start?

Often within a few days of the free assessment, depending on the hours you need. If someone is coming home from hospital, call us early so we can plan together.

Do you support people living with dementia?

Yes. We plan calm, familiar routines with the family, keep the same caregivers where possible and share small changes we notice, so nothing is missed.

Let’s talk about the care your family needs

Arrange a free, no-obligation care assessment at home or by video. We will listen first, then suggest a plan.
