About us
A friendly learning centre where every question is welcome
We started the centre for children who feel lost in a busy classroom. Our tutors slow down, find the gaps, and explain each idea in a way that makes sense, so learning feels possible again.

Our tutors
Meet the people your child will learn with

Hannah Moore
Centre director · English tutor
Runs the centre and the free assessments. Loves helping reluctant readers find a book they cannot put down.

Marcus Reid
Maths & science tutor
Breaks tricky topics into small, clear steps and keeps a jar of puzzles for anyone who finishes early.

Amara Okoye
Exam prep & online tutor
Helps older students build a revision plan they can stick to, in the centre or by video.
Our approach
Calm, clear teaching, one step at a time
Small groups
Groups of up to six students, so everyone gets time with the tutor and nobody hides at the back.
Clear goals
Each child works towards a few clear goals from their assessment, and we celebrate every one they reach.
Regular updates
Short notes after sessions and a written report each term, in plain words, with ideas to help at home.
Safety first
A named safeguarding lead and a written safeguarding policy that every parent can read.
Progress stories
What progress can look like
Small steps add up. Here is the kind of change families notice after a term or two of regular sessions.
Example (sample)
Year 4 · Maths
Times tables and fractions
Before: avoided maths homework and guessed at fractions.
After one term: knows the times tables up to 10 and explains fractions with drawings.
Example (sample)
Year 7 · English
Reading and writing
Before: read slowly and wrote very short answers in class.
After one term: reads a chapter a night and plans longer answers with a simple checklist.
Example (sample)
Year 11 · Science
Exam preparation
Before: felt unsure where to start revising for final exams.
After two terms: follows a weekly revision plan and practises past papers with confidence.
These are sample stories that show the layout, not real results. Every child learns at their own pace, and no tutor can promise a grade.
