Services
Towing and roadside assistance
From a flat battery on your driveway to a box truck in a ditch: what we do, what it costs and which truck we send.
Services
Roadside help and towing for every kind of vehicle
One call covers it. If we can fix the problem at the roadside we will; if not, we tow you wherever you need to go.
Towing
Local and long-distance towing with wheel-lift and flatbed trucks, to a service centre, your home or a dealer of your choice.
Jump starts
Flat battery in the car park or on the driveway? We get you started and check that the battery is charging.
Lockouts
Keys locked inside? We open most cars and vans without damage, once you show proof that the vehicle is yours.
Tyre change
We fit your spare at the roadside, or tow you to a tyre shop when there is no usable spare.
Fuel delivery
Run dry? We bring enough fuel to reach the nearest station. You pay for the fuel at cost.
Winching & recovery
Stuck in a ditch, mud, snow or a soft verge? We winch the vehicle back onto solid ground.
Heavy-duty towing
Box trucks, RVs, buses and light commercial vehicles. Call for a quote and the right truck.
Flatbed transport
Planned moves for classic, lowered, electric and non-running vehicles, loaded flat and strapped down.

While you wait
Stay safe until the truck arrives
- Pull as far off the road as you can and switch on your hazard lights.
- If it is safe, leave on the side away from traffic and wait behind a barrier or well back from the road.
- Never stand between your vehicle and passing traffic, and never try to fix the vehicle on a busy road.
- Put out a warning triangle only where it is safe and allowed to do so.
- At night, keep your sidelights on and wear something bright if you have it.
- If you cannot get out safely, stay inside with your seatbelt on and call the emergency services.
General guidance only. Always follow local road rules and any instructions from the police or highway staff.
FAQ
Questions people ask us
Still not sure? Call dispatch any time, day or night.
What should I do while I wait?
Switch on your hazard lights and, if it is safe, wait away from the vehicle and behind a barrier, never between the vehicle and traffic. Keep your phone on: the driver calls or texts when close. If anyone is hurt, call the emergency services first.
Will my insurance or roadside cover pay?
Many insurance policies and roadside plans include towing. Check with yours first: some send us the job directly, or you pay us and claim it back with our itemised receipt. Plans we bill directly: Example Motor Club (sample).
How can I pay?
Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, paid to the driver or by a secure link from dispatch. Business accounts can be invoiced.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the job, the distance and the time of day. Dispatch tells you the price on the phone before the truck sets off, and we never add charges without asking you.
Can I ride in the tow truck?
Usually one passenger can ride in the cab, space permitting. Tell dispatch how many people are with you so we can plan.
Where can you take my vehicle?
Anywhere you choose: your home, a service centre, a dealer or a body shop. If it is late, we can store it safely in our yard and deliver it the next day.
Broken down right now? Dispatch answers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
