FAQ
Questions pet owners ask us
Not sure about something? Give our reception team a call, we are always happy to help.
What should I do if my pet has an emergency?
During opening hours, call us straight away and tell us what is happening, so we can get ready for you. Out of hours, call us or your nearest emergency vet: our phone message gives the out-of-hours number.
Which animals do you see?
Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets. If you keep birds, reptiles or other exotic pets, call us first and we will tell you whether we can help or who to see.
What should I bring to the first visit?
Your pet’s vaccination card and any records from a previous vet, a list of medicines and food, and a favourite treat. Please bring dogs on a lead and cats or small pets in a secure carrier.
How can I pay?
We ask for payment at the end of each visit by card, cash or contactless. For larger treatments you get a written estimate first, and routine care can be spread with a monthly health plan.
Do you work with pet insurance?
Yes. We can fill in the claim form for most insurers. You pay us at the visit and claim the cost back. Check your policy to see what it covers.
