About the charity
Who we are, who runs the charity, who helps us and how we account for every dollar.

It started with one Friday lunch
A few neighbours began cooking a Friday lunch in the community hall for anyone who wanted company. Within a year people were asking for food to take home, so we opened a small food bank in the back room.
Today the lunches run twice a week, the van delivers to people who cannot come in, and the advice desk helps with what sits behind an empty cupboard. We started in 2014 (sample).
- Nobody has to explain why they need food
- Volunteers do most of the work, so most of the money reaches the kitchen
- We publish what we spend, every year
