We always verify ownership
Before we open any door, vehicle or safe, we ask for photo ID and proof that you live there or own it. It takes a minute, and it protects you, your neighbours and your property.
Documents locked inside? Tell us on the phone. We open the door, then check them with you before anyone goes in.
What to have ready
- Photo ID, such as a driving licence or passport
- Proof of address: a utility bill, bank letter or tenancy agreement
- Vehicle registration or title for a vehicle lockout
- The landlord or manager’s OK for some rented or business premises
If ownership cannot be confirmed, we will not open the door. We will explain why and help you find another way.

Good to know before you call

Why do you ask for ID?
We verify ownership before every entry. Please show photo ID and proof of address, or the registration for a vehicle. If they are locked inside, we check them as soon as the door is open, before anyone goes in.
How quickly can you get to me?
For an emergency lockout in town we aim to arrive within 30–45 minutes (sample). We give you a time on the phone and send a text if anything changes.
Will you damage my door or lock?
We try damage-free entry first. If a lock has to be drilled, we tell you why and what it costs before we start.
How much will it cost?
You hear the price on the phone before we set off. Night, weekend and holiday call-outs may cost more, and we never add a charge without telling you.
Should I rekey or replace my locks?
Rekeying makes the old keys useless and keeps your hardware, so it often costs less. Replace the lock if it is worn or damaged, or if you want a higher security grade.
Can you replace vehicle keys and fobs?
We cut and program keys for many makes on site. Tell us the make, model and year on the phone and we confirm whether we can help.
