FAQ
Questions homeowners ask us
Still not sure? Call the office and we will talk it through.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Maintenance plans run month to month through the season, and you can pause or cancel with two weeks’ notice (example terms). One-off jobs are quoted on their own.
How do you work out the price?
By the size of your yard, the work involved and how often we visit. After a free site visit you get a written quote, and the price only changes if you ask for extra work.
When does the mowing season start and end?
Usually from early spring until the grass stops growing in late fall, depending on the weather. We let you know before the first and the last visit.
What happens if it rains on my visit day?
We move your visit to the next dry day and send you a message. Mowing wet grass can tear the blades and mark the lawn, so it is better to wait.
Do I need to be home when you visit?
No. Leave the gate unlocked and pets indoors, and we will message you when the work is done.
Is there anything to do in winter?
Winter is a good time to plan a new garden, prune many trees and shrubs, and book patio or path work for spring. Ask us what makes sense for your yard.
