About the workshop
A small studio with a working bench
We are an independent jeweller with a showroom at the front and a workshop at the back. The people who greet you are the people who design, make and repair your jewellery, so you always know who is looking after it.

Care guide
Keep it shining for years
Four simple habits that keep fine jewellery looking its best between visits. Pearls, opals and emeralds need extra care: ask us before you clean them.
Store
Each piece apart
Keep pieces in separate pouches or box compartments, so harder stones cannot scratch softer metals and chains do not tangle.
Clean
Gently, at home
Warm water, a drop of mild washing-up liquid and a soft brush. Rinse well and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
Remove
Before a workout
Take rings off for the gym, gardening, swimming and cleaning, and put perfume and lotion on before your jewellery.
Check
Once a year
Bring your pieces in for a clean and a look at the claws and clasps, so a loose stone is caught early.

Which metals do you work with?
Our sample list is yellow, rose and white gold, platinum and sterling silver. We explain the differences in colour, hardness and upkeep at your appointment, so you can choose what suits how you live.
How do I find out my ring size?
The most reliable way is a quick sizing at the showroom. If the ring is a surprise, borrow a ring that is worn on the same finger and bring it in, and we will measure it for you.
Can every ring be resized?
Most gold, platinum and silver rings can be made larger or smaller. Eternity rings, some patterned bands and certain stones need another approach; we look at the ring first and tell you the options.
Is my jewellery covered by a warranty?
Ask us about the warranty and aftercare for each piece. We explain what is covered in writing before you buy, and we are happy to check your jewellery whenever you visit.
How long does a bespoke piece take?
Allow around 6 to 10 weeks from the agreed design to collection (sample timing). Tell us early if you have a date in mind, such as a proposal or a wedding.
Can you use my own stones or gold?
Often, yes. We check each stone before we reset it and explain any risk, and we can talk about reusing inherited gold in a new design.
