About the gym
Who sets the climbs, who runs the classes, and what to expect when you walk in for the first time.

A neighbourhood wall, set for every level
We opened in an old warehouse with one bouldering wall and a kettle. Today there are tall walls with ropes and a room for the kids’ club, and most of the people at the front desk still climb here every week.
- New climbs on one wall every week
- Climbs at every grade from V0 to V7
- A coached induction for every first visit
- Staff on the floor whenever we are open
Setters and coaches
The people who set the climbs, run the inductions and teach the classes.

Theo Lindqvist
Head setter
Resets one wall every week, so there is always something new on the yellow and green tape.

Mei Tanaka
Coach, inductions and technique
Runs most first-visit inductions and the Monday footwork class. Patient with nervous first-timers.

Walter Price
Coach, kids’ club and belay courses
Started climbing at 50 and now teaches everyone from five-year-olds to retired beginners how to hold a rope.

What climbers say
“A friend dragged me along and I was sure I would hate it. The induction was calm and clear, and I climbed my first V1 before we left.”

First visit
“The new climbs every week keep me coming back. The setters are happy to explain a move if you ask.”

Member
“Our son has gone from the little climbers to the kids’ club. The coaches know every child by name.”

How your first visit works
Everyone climbs with us for the first time after a short induction, even if you have climbed somewhere else.
1
Book an induction
Pick a time online or call us. Inductions run every day, for up to six people at a time.
2
Learn the basics
A coach shows you how to warm up, fall and land safely, read the grades and share the wall.
3
Climb
Stay as long as you like after the induction. Start on the V0 tape and see how far you get.
4
Come back on your own
Once you are inducted, walk in any day with a day pass, a 10-visit card or a membership.
Book your induction
Pick a day and time, come ten minutes early to sign the waiver, and climb for as long as you like afterwards. Shoes and chalk are included.
