A neighbourhood bike workshop
Meet the mechanics, see how we work and come out on a group ride.

Two repair stands, a wall of tools and a kettle
We opened as a one-person repair bench behind a café and grew into the shop on Foundry Lane. Most of our customers ride to work, take their children to school by bike or head out on a Saturday morning, and we fix bikes with that in mind: reliable first, shiny second.
- A price before any work starts
- Old parts kept for you to see
- Any make of bike, old or new
- Plain answers to every question
The mechanics
The people who will have your bike on the stand. Ask for any of them by name.

Joseph Okello
Head mechanic
Builds wheels by hand and can usually tell what is wrong from the noise alone.

Theo Marsh
Mechanic, e-bikes
Looks after motors, batteries and the wiring nobody else wants to touch.

Leila Haddad
Bike fitter
Runs the bike fits and leads the Sunday gravel ride.

Grace Achieng
Mechanic, kids’ bikes
Sizes first bikes and fits stabilisers, bells and the occasional streamer.
Sample mechanics and bios.

What riders say
“My commuter bike went in on Monday with a grinding noise and came back on Wednesday quiet. They called first to say the chain and cassette were worn and what it would cost.”

“They sized both kids for their first proper bikes and let them ride up and down outside until they picked one. A month later the free check-up took ten minutes.”
Sample customer
Parent, two kids’ bikes
“I joined the Wednesday ride not knowing anyone. Nobody dropped me, and the puncture I got on the way home was fixed the next morning while I had a coffee.”
