FAQ
Good to know before you shop
Still have a question? Call or email the boutique and we will be happy to help.
How far ahead should I order my dress?
Most designers need about 4 to 6 months to make a gown, and alterations take another 6 to 8 weeks. Shopping 9 to 12 months before the wedding gives you time to relax. Getting married sooner? Ask about rush orders and dresses we can sell off the rail.
What sizes can I try on?
Sample gowns come in a range of sizes and are clipped or pinned to show you the shape. Gowns are then ordered in your measurements. Tell us your size when you book so we can pull styles to suit you.
What should I bring to my appointment?
A few photos of dresses you like, a strapless bra or nude underwear, and shoes close to the height you plan to wear. Bring your wedding date and a budget in mind, too.
How many guests can I bring?
Up to three guests fit comfortably in the fitting room. A small group makes it easier to hear your own opinion.
Do you do alterations?
Yes. Our seamstress fits your gown over two or three appointments in the weeks before the wedding. Alterations are priced separately, after your first fitting.
How do deposits and payments work?
We take a deposit when you order and the balance when your dress arrives. Gowns are made to order for you, so please check our terms before you pay.
