Why it matters
Most themes were never made for an AI to edit
Ask an assistant to change an ordinary theme and it has to guess. These are the three mistakes we see most, and what our themes do about them.
Guessed colours and sizes
Without a system, an assistant writes new hex codes and pixel sizes into every section, and the site drifts off-brand. Our themes give it named tokens instead: change the brand colour once, everything follows.
“This block contains unexpected content”
One wrong attribute and WordPress refuses to open the block. Our patterns use only core blocks with markup that matches what WordPress saves, and the checker tests every file.
Demo text left behind
Sample phone numbers, prices and reviews are easy to miss. Every theme lists its placeholders, and the launch check fails until they are all replaced.

Design tokens
Colours, font sizes, spacing and radii are named presets in theme.json. Four colour styles per theme, all checked for readable contrast.
Core blocks only
No page builder and no required plugins. Everything is editable in Appearance → Editor, by you or by an assistant.
Local fonts
Fonts ship with the theme, so pages load without requests to Google Fonts.
Clear structure
Every section is a named pattern with a description, so an assistant (and you) can find what to change.

From download to your own site in four steps

Install the theme
Upload the zip in Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme and activate it. The homepage and pages are ready straight away.

Open it with your assistant
Open the theme folder in Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot. With ChatGPT or Claude.ai, paste AGENTS.md first.

Use a ready prompt
Copy “Set up the theme for my business”, fill in your name, services, hours and brand colour, and send it.

Check and launch
Run the checker. When it reports no demo content left, upload the theme and go live.

Questions about AI and the themes
What does “AI-ready” mean for a WordPress theme?
The theme is built so an AI assistant can change it without breaking it: every colour, size and space is a named design token, the sections use only WordPress core blocks, and Pro Unlimited adds written instructions (AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md and an Agent Skill), ready prompts and a checker that tests the result.
Which AI assistants work with the themes?
Tools that can open your files read the instructions automatically: Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex and Windsurf. With chat tools such as ChatGPT, Claude.ai or Gemini, paste AGENTS.md first, then the file you want changed, and paste the answer back.
Do I have to use AI?
No. Every theme is a normal WordPress block theme. You can change everything by hand in Appearance → Editor. The AI kit only makes the work faster if you already use an assistant.
Which plan includes the AI kit?
Pro Unlimited ($49, one-time). It contains AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules, a Claude Agent Skill, ai/prompts.md and tools/check-theme.py. The Free and Pro Standard editions use the same design tokens, so any assistant still has a clean structure to work with.
Can the AI break my website?
The instructions tell the assistant which tokens, blocks and classes to use, and the checker catches invalid block markup, colour contrast problems and leftover demo text before you upload anything. Work on a copy of the theme folder or a staging site, review the changes, and keep a backup, as you would with any edit.
Does the theme send my content to an AI service?
No. The theme contains no AI code and makes no calls to AI services. The AI kit is a set of text files and a Python script that you use with the assistant of your choice, on your own computer.
Will the AI make up reviews, prices or qualifications?
The instructions tell the assistant to treat every number, review, award and qualification in the demo as a placeholder, to ask you for real details and never to invent them. The launch check (python3 tools/check-theme.py –launch) fails while any demo content is left.
What is the AI assistant on this website?
The “Any Questions?” button opens an assistant that answers from our documentation and product pages, any time of day. It cannot see orders, licences or payments: for those it sends you to a support ticket, where a person helps you.
