What do I need to do before you arrive?<\/summary>\n

Clear small items, ornaments and pictures if you can. We move and cover the larger furniture, protect the floors and take care of all the surface preparation.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n

How much preparation is included?<\/summary>\n

Filling cracks and holes, sanding, cleaning, sealing stains and priming bare or patched areas. Anything extra, such as large plaster repairs, is listed separately in the quote.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n

How long does paint take to dry?<\/summary>\n

Most water-based wall paints are touch-dry in one to two hours and ready for a second coat in about four. Oil-based gloss takes longer. Paint keeps hardening for a couple of weeks, so wipe gently at first. Times depend on the product, temperature and humidity.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n

Which paint brands do you use?<\/summary>\n

We use trade-quality paints from well-known brands and are happy to use the brand and colour you have already chosen. Tell us the colour name or code and we will match it.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n

Can we stay at home while you paint?<\/summary>\n

Yes. Most people do. We work room by room, keep walkways clear and ventilate as we go, and we can use low-odour paints on request.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n

How long will the job take?<\/summary>\n

An average room takes one to two days, a whole house interior about a week. Your quote gives the start date and how many days we expect to need.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n
