Veg boxes from our fields

A box of whatever is ready this week, picked on Monday and with you on Wednesday. Three sizes, delivery or collection, and you can skip any week.

How the box works

The same rhythm every week, so you always know when the vegetables were picked.

1

Any day

Choose a size

Small, medium or family. Tell us once about anything you would rather not get, and we leave it out.

2

Monday

We pick

Early in the morning, from the field and the polytunnels. Roots are washed, leaves are kept cool.

3

Wednesday

Delivery or collection

We bring the box to your door, or you collect it from the farm shop from Wednesday noon.

By Sunday evening

Box sizes

Every size gets the same vegetables from the same picking, just more of them. Change size whenever you like.

What box customers say

“The carrots taste like carrots again. Our two still pick round the kale, but they ask what is in the box every Wednesday.”

“I skip a week whenever I am away and it is never a problem. The list on Saturday helps me plan what to cook.”

“We come for the eggs and always leave with more than we meant to. The strawberry morning is a fixture for us now.”

Questions about the box

Anything else? Ask at the farm shop or give us a call.

""

Where do you deliver?

Springfield and the villages within about ten miles of the farm, every Wednesday (example area). Further away? Collect from the farm shop any time from Wednesday noon to Saturday.

</details>

Is it organic?

We are not certified organic, so we do not use the word. Ask us how any crop is grown and we will tell you, or come and see on an open day (sample answer).

</details>

How do I skip a week or pause?

Message or call us by Sunday evening and that week’s box is not packed or charged. Going away for a month? Pause the box and pick a date to restart (example).

</details>

Can I swap things I do not eat?

Tell us up to three vegetables you never want and we leave them out, adding more of something else instead.

</details>

What if I am not home on Wednesday?

Tell us a shady spot to leave the box: a porch, a shed or a neighbour. Leaves travel in a paper bag so they stay crisp for a few hours.

</details>

What happens to the crates?

Leave last week’s empty crate out and we take it back when we drop off the new one. Paper bags and cardboard go on the compost heap.

</details>
