FAQ
Good to know before your first class
Still have a question? Call the studio or ask your teacher before class.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes you can stretch in and a water bottle. We practise barefoot. Mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets are provided, or bring your own mat if you prefer.
I have never done yoga. Which class should I choose?
Start with a Beginners class or the four-week beginners course. Hatha, gentle and restorative classes are also good first steps. Vinyasa moves faster, so try it once you know the basic poses.
Do I need to be flexible or fit?
No. Yoga meets you where you are. Every pose has simpler options, and you can rest at any time.
I have an injury or a health condition. Can I join?
Please check with your doctor or physiotherapist first, and tell your teacher before class so they can suggest options. Our classes are not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.
Is yoga safe during pregnancy?
Ask your midwife or doctor before you start. Our prenatal classes are designed for pregnancy; in other classes, let the teacher know so they can adapt the poses.
How do bookings and cancellations work?
Book online or by phone. Classes are small, so please cancel at least four hours before class to free your mat for someone else.
